location of San Leandro Hills in California [1]
|
The San Leandro Hills are a range of the Pacific Coast Ranges located on the eastern side of the valley which includes San Francisco Bay. They run along the southeastern city limits of Oakland, extending southeastward above the city of San Leandro and the unincorporated community of Castro Valley. Geologically, they are a southern continuation of the Berkeley Hills to the north. San Leandro Creek drains the canyon along the eastern slope of the hills.
